Elite Sounds ES450-25W-10S2 10" 450W RMS 2Ω Bagger Mid-Bass Woofer
Vendor:Elite Sounds AudioElite Sounds ES450-25W-10S2 10" 450W RMS 2Ω Bagger Mid-Bass Woofer The Elite Sounds ES450-25W-10S2 is a 10-inch, single 2-ohm mid-bass woofer designed specifically for custom motorcycle audio applications where strong low-frequency output is needed without using a conventional subwoofer. With 450 watts RMS power handling, a 2.5-inch voice coil, 4.63-inch mounting depth, water-resistant paper cone, and a recommended operating range of 50 Hz to 800 Hz, the ES450 is well suited for fiberglass bagger builds that need both bass impact and useful rear low-range musical fill. THE REFERENCE STANDARD 10" Mid-Bass Output Built for Custom Bagger Audio A 450W RMS single 2-ohm woofer built for fiberglass saddlebag applications where real low-end authority and usable mid-bass output matter. Start a Build Consultation Call 864-334-6131 Elite Sounds ES450-25W-10S2 Key Specifications Model / SKU ES450-25W-10S2 Speaker Size 10 inches Speaker Type Mid-Bass Woofer Nominal Impedance 2Ω Voice Coil Configuration Single 2-Ohm Voice Coil Voice Coil Size 2.5 inches Power Handling 450W RMS Recommended Operating Range 50 Hz – 800 Hz Mounting Depth 4.63 inches Cone Material Water-Resistant Paper Cone Terminals Push Terminals Weight 6 lb Primary Application Fiberglass Bagger / Custom Motorcycle Audio Application note: The ES450 is a woofer / mid-bass driver, not a traditional subwoofer. Verify mounting depth, cutout, enclosure design, amplifier power, crossover strategy, and all physical clearances before fabrication or installation. A Woofer — Not a Subwoofer The Elite Sounds ES450 is designed to cover more usable range than a conventional subwoofer. Its recommended 50 Hz to 800 Hz operating window allows it to deliver strong low-frequency output while extending high enough to contribute useful low-range musical and vocal information from the rear of the motorcycle. That makes it a strong option for riders who want meaningful bass from the saddlebags without turning the rear stage into a subwoofer-only system. Recommended tuning range: 50 Hz to 800 Hz. Final crossover points should be established around the actual enclosure, amplifier power, completed installation, and measured response of the system. Optimized for Fiberglass Bagger Audio Elite Sounds specifically positions the ES450 for fiberglass bagger audio applications. Its 10-inch format, 4.63-inch mounting depth, and broad low-frequency operating range make it well suited for custom saddlebag installations where output, enclosure design, and system tuning all work together. 450W RMS Power Handling The ES450 is rated at 450 watts RMS, giving properly matched motorcycle amplifiers enough power capability to produce substantial low-frequency output. Single 2Ω Voice Coil The single 2-ohm configuration is useful in high-output motorcycle systems where amplifier impedance and available channel power are part of the overall system design. 2.5" Voice Coil The 2.5-inch voice coil supports the power handling and thermal demands expected from a serious 10-inch bagger woofer. Built for Bass and Low-Range Rear Fill The ES450 is not limited to deep-bass duty. Its recommended upper operating range extends to 800 Hz, allowing it to provide more usable low-range output than a traditional subwoofer when the system is designed and tuned appropriately. Strong low-frequency output from custom saddlebags. Useful low-range musical fill behind the rider. Rear vocal support when integrated properly with the rest of the system. Flexible crossover strategies for custom DSP-tuned builds. Useful in systems where the rear stage needs more than sub-bass alone. Sealed or Ported Saddlebag Applications The ES450 can be used in properly designed sealed or ported fiberglass saddlebag applications depending on available enclosure volume, system goals, tuning strategy, and the rest of the speaker system. A sealed configuration may provide a simpler enclosure with controlled response, while a properly engineered ported system can be used when additional low-frequency efficiency or output is the goal. Port design matters: Do not use a generic port specification. Port diameter, effective length, enclosure volume, driver displacement, bracing, and intended tuning frequency should all be considered together. Water-Resistant Construction for Powersports Use The ES450 uses a water-resistant paper cone, making it more suitable for motorcycle and powersports environments than a conventional untreated paper-cone woofer. This does not mean the speaker should be treated as completely waterproof. Installation location, enclosure sealing, drainage, wiring protection, and overall exposure should still be considered when the woofer is used in saddlebags or other exposed applications. Custom Marine Audio Applications Although the ES450 is primarily optimized for fiberglass bagger audio, its water-resistant cone and wide low-frequency operating range can also make it useful in appropriately protected custom marine audio installations where a 10-inch single 2-ohm woofer fits the system design. This product is not being represented as a dedicated marine-certified subwoofer. Installation location, enclosure construction, weather exposure, moisture protection, amplifier matching, and electrical design should all be evaluated before using it in a marine application. Installation and System Planning Verify the actual speaker cutout before cutting or fabricating the saddlebag. Confirm the 4.63-inch mounting depth and all rear clearance. Confirm saddlebag enclosure volume before choosing sealed or ported operation. Provide adequate bracing and mounting rigidity around the 10-inch speaker opening. Verify amplifier stability and RMS output into the speaker's 2-ohm load. Protect all terminals and wiring from moisture, abrasion, cargo, and vibration. Use appropriate high-pass and low-pass crossover protection for the installed amplifier power. Complete final DSP, EQ, crossover, level, polarity, and time-alignment tuning after installation. Measure the completed enclosure and system response whenever possible before finalizing tuning. Sold Individually This listing includes one Elite Sounds ES450-25W-10S2 10-inch mid-bass woofer. If your system uses one 10-inch woofer in each saddlebag, order a quantity of two. Need Help Building the Complete System? A 10-inch saddlebag system should be designed around the entire motorcycle audio package. Amplifier power, electrical capacity, enclosure volume, bracing, port design, crossover strategy, front-to-rear balance, DSP tuning, and the rest of the speaker system all affect the final result. If you are unsure whether the Elite Sounds ES450-25W-10S2 is the right woofer for your motorcycle or marine build, contact the Garage Bagger Stereo team before ordering.
