You must modify your inner bracket on all 23-24 models because of the existing Rockford Fosgate small amps that must stay in the motorcycles.

Modifications 


The most significant modifications are required when you have the black 4-channel amplifier.  When you have the smaller amplifier in the motorcycle like below, amps similar to the SounDigital 800.4, 400.4, 400.2, and the Cicada BDA600.4 typically do not require as much cutting!

With the introduction of the 2023 CVO and 24 models came the introduction of a Rockford Fosgate amplifier in all current models. The CVO will have a larger black amplifier, as seen in the image below, and the standard 24 models house a grayish-looking Rockford Fosgate amplifier. I am sure you know by now, but if not, these amplifiers do not come out of the motorcycles at all. We will add an amplifier to the amplified system, much like what is done in the car industry daily. Currently, the amplifier is married to the motorcycle and the radio.

With the amplifier staying, you, as the customer or shop owner, will relocate it to the back of the radio and stand it up, and we will add the new amplifier in front of the old amplifier.

Since we now have two amplifiers inside the fairing, we will modify the current stock amp rack to house both. Here, we have marked the amp tray for a small amplifier like the SounDigital 800.4 Evox2 or the Cicada Audio BDA600.4.  This small cut will allow one of these amplifiers to be mounted along with the stock amplifier. 

We must be more aggressive with the modification to incorporate larger amplifiers into the fairing. We will now open the amp rack wider and remove two tabs from the top of the headlight. 

With these modifications completed, you can now add a second amplifier to the motorcycle and have a much better aftermarket system than the stock systems, which have always been subpar, IMHO. Below is an image of the Cicada BDA2000.4 installed on the 23 Road Glide CVO using the modification techniques above.
