The Hertz ST 25A NEO is a neodymium bullet compression tweeter built for SPL-level output in open air. It pairs an aluminium diaphragm with an FEM-optimized phase plug and horn, a replaceable CCAR voice coil and a waterproofed, anti-UV body. This set is the active version: tweeter only, no grilles or crossover included.

High Frequencies That Carry at Speed
Soft-dome tweeters get buried by wind at highway speed. A compression tweeter loads an aluminium diaphragm into a horn for far higher sensitivity, so vocals and cymbals stay clear when the volume is up.
The ST 25A NEO uses a neodymium magnet to keep the body compact, a copper-clad aluminium ribbon voice coil with screw terminals, and a waterproofed body with anti-UV treatment for use outside.

Recommended System Planning
Plan the tweeters with the rest of the system. They need a high-pass crossover (5kHz, 12 dB/octave recommended by Hertz), amplifier power that matches the rest of the speakers, and a mounting location with at least 29.7 mm of depth. A DSP makes level matching and time alignment much easier.

What power handling does the ST 25A NEO have?
Hertz rates it at 100W peak at 4Ω, with 107 dB sensitivity and a 3kHz–20kHz frequency response. Hertz does not publish a continuous rating for it.
What crossover does the ST 25A NEO need?
It is sold without a crossover. Hertz recommends a high pass at 5kHz, 12 dB/octave. Never run it full range.
Does the ST 25A NEO come with grilles?
No. This active version is the tweeter only. The K kit version includes grilles and crossovers.
Can the voice coil be replaced?
Yes. It uses a replaceable CCAR voice coil. Hertz lists the VC 25 NEO as the replacement voice coil for the ST 25 NEO; call us to confirm the match before ordering.
Is it built for weather?
Hertz uses a waterproofed body with anti-UV treatment for outdoor use.
