Always verify subwoofer impedance, wiring, fuse size, amplifier placement, gain setting and charging system capacity before ordering or installing this amplifier.
Bass Power That Survives Outside
Subwoofers on a bike or boat need real current and an amplifier that will not choke on water and road grime. The SP 1.900 runs a fanless aluminum chassis rated IP55 with sealed power, input and speaker connections, so there is no fan pulling dirt across the board.
With 1000 watts RMS available at 2 ohms and 1 ohm, a subsonic filter at 25Hz and an adjustable low pass, it gives you the control to keep a sub clean and loud instead of just loud.

Recommended System Planning
The SP 1.900 only performs if the power side is right. Plan OFC power and ground wire sized for a 50A draw, a fuse at the battery, a solid ground, a clean signal feed and a subwoofer load that matches the amp (4Ω, 2Ω or 1Ω). Set the low pass, subsonic and gain with the sub installed, not on the bench.

Best Use for the SP 1.900
Choose it to power a subwoofer or dedicated bass section where space is tight and the amp will see weather, dirt and heat.
Designed Around Real Motorcycle Audio
Wind noise, road speed, limited mounting space and electrical load all matter on a bike. This amp belongs in systems where the sub, wiring, fusing and tuning are planned together.
Hertz SP 1.900 FAQ
How much power does the SP 1.900 make?
Hertz rates it at 600 watts RMS x 1 at 4Ω, 1000 watts RMS x 1 at 2Ω and 1000 watts RMS x 1 at 1Ω, at 14.4V and 1% THD.
What speaker loads can it run?
It is stable down to 1Ω, so it can drive 4Ω, 2Ω or 1Ω subwoofer loads.
Is the SP 1.900 plug and play?
No. It is a mono bass amplifier that needs its own power, ground, fuse, signal and speaker wiring.
How much current does it draw?
Hertz lists 50A at 14.4V into 2Ω at max musical power and 1.1A at idle. Size the power wire, fuse and charging system for that.
What filters does it have?
An adjustable 50Hz–250Hz low pass, a 25Hz subsonic filter at 24 dB/octave, 0–8 dB bass boost (low pass on only) and 0–180° phase.
