High-Compression Tweeter for Extreme Touring Audio
The DS18 PRO-TWN4-3 is a high-compression hybrid driver-tweeter engineered for extreme-output motorcycle audio systems, where clarity and projection must be maintained at sustained highway speeds. Designed for amplified applications, this tweeter delivers aggressive high-frequency performance without sacrificing control or reliability.
This hybrid design combines a compression-style high-frequency driver with a neodymium motor structure, allowing high sensitivity and efficient output in compact mounting locations. The result is a tweeter capable of cutting through wind noise and high-output midrange systems without becoming harsh or fatiguing when properly tuned.
The PRO-TWN4-3 is intended for use in multi-amplifier touring systems where tweeters must match the output capability of pro-audio midrange speakers. It is not designed for factory radio power and requires proper amplification and high-pass filtering to perform correctly.
This tweeter is commonly used in fairings, speaker pods, tour pack enclosures, and custom motorcycle audio installations where controlled high-frequency projection is required to balance the loudness of the front and rear stages.
Sold individually. Professional installation, correct crossover configuration, and DSP tuning are strongly recommended.
