DO NOT USE SELF TAPPING SCREWS It is recommended but not necessary to use a 2 part epoxy to bond the adapter to the saddle bag. A good example would be 3M 08115. You should also have some knowledge of body work as you will be cutting the saddle bag. **due to many variations of saddle bags these were CNC using stock bags. Depending on the bag slight modifications may have to be done to the adapter. I.E sanding to the mounting face of the adapter or use of silicon caulk to fill in small gaps. Garage Bagger Stereo has come to the rescue with our newest product.... the SPEED RINGS. These speaker rings are the easiest way to install 10-inch subwoofers in your saddlebags on Harley Touring Motorcycles. The front side is contoured to fit the inside of the stock saddle bag and to provide clearance for the shock bump-out. The backside is a nice, thick, flat surface to mount most 10 speakers. On average, most 10-inch speakers with a 4.5" depth will work, but this could vary depending on your specific saddle bags. We recommend using a mid-bass or mid-range 10-inch speaker, as these speakers are more forgiving of air space requirements and help produce audible frequencies when riding. Road Glide, Street Glide, and Road King motorcycles all use the same basic saddlebag, and the only difference is that, in some years, the shock bump-out is slightly different. Do not worry; we have year-specific models available. These are modeled around stock Harley Davidson saddlebags. Some aftermarket bags may require the rings to be modified or filler added, such as panel bond, because not all aftermarket molds are the same.Sale -
